The compact wafer-style design and round unobstructed port of the Tyco Prince Wafer-Check Valve tackle many tough applications throughout industry. Offering elastomer and polymer seating materials, it is heavily used in chemical, petrochemical, water/waste water, mining, HVAC systems, power, pulp and paper, refrigeration, agriculture, oil production and most other industrial applications. Available 2" through 48", Prince wafer check valves significantly minimize the required piping support, assuring low installation and maintenance costs when compared to traditional full-bodied check valves. Adaptable with outside lever and weights, internal or external springs, the Prince Wafer Check can solve many specific application problems.

• To meet special applications and service conditions, Prince valves can be offered with many different options, such as:

• For media containing fibrous matter or caustics, Prince offers an external spring (Figure 813 and Figure 815) which eliminates the spring from the flow path. This will prohibit the possibility of fiber wrapping around the spring or chemical attack of the spring.

• Maintenance is minimal with the field replaceable O-ring seat available in all styles and sizes.
