A pipe-line
strainer is a device which provides a means of
mechanically removing solids from a flowing fluid by
utilizing a perforated or wire mesh straining
element.
Strainers are an
inexpensive means of protecting downstream
mechanical equipment such as condensers, heat
exchangers, pumps, compressors, meters,
spray nozzles, turbines, steam traps, etc. from
possible damages due to debris such as rust, pipe
scale, sediment, and/or other solids. |

| SUCTION
DIFFUSER |
| The
Keckley Style PSD mounts to the suction side of a
pump in either a horizontal or vertical position. It
is designed to remove any foreign matter that may be
hazardous to the pump or other system components,
while providing the proper flow conditions to the
pump. Where space is limited, the Keckley Style PSD
can be used as an elbow (in some cases a reducing
elbow) with a built in strainer for easy maintenance
and system performance |
| TRIPLE
DUTY VALVE |
| The
Keckley Style TDV is a Triple Duty Valve primarily
required on the discharge side of a centrifugal pump
in a hydronic heating or cooling system. This valve
functions as a shut-off valve, spring loaded silent
check valve, and balancing valve. |
| FLOAT
& LEVER VALVES |
| Float
valves and lever valves are designed to control the
level of liquids through mechanically actuation.
Float valves are actuated through the attached float
ball, float rod, and lever assembly and do not
require any external power source. Lever valves are
actuated through the use of some external power
source such as manual operation, float
boxes/mechanisms, electric motors or other
actuators, through external linkage to the lever of
the valve. |
